"前IBM员工现微软首席平台战略主管，微软Linux实验室负责人Bill Hilf狂言宣称要剥开围绕在开源软件周围的神话。“自由软件运动正走向死亡，Linux在2007年不再存在，你看就连Linus都有一个工作。”Linux kernel是由全职雇员维护的，拥有优先认股权。大部分人在IBM，Oracle，RedHat等商业公司工作。这意味着什么？这说明Linux在2007年不再存在（我觉得他疯了）。世界上没有什么免费软件运动。如果说Linux代表了爱，和平和和谐，这是错误的，再说一遍没有自由软件运动，这都是商业行为。是由大的商业公司如IBM和小的商业公司如Ubuntu组成的。Hilf表示微软对开源感兴趣也是出于商业原因，不是什么伟大的利他性、爱或是营销手段。"

windows 和 Linux 之间本来就是你死我活的战争，这些只是战争的一些具体形式。
之前为甚么微软不提Linux,主要是它还没有资格跟windows 过招。现在大了，有点资格了，就要把它消灭在萌芽之际。

老大，看新闻能这么看的么。offers只表明一种状态而已，offer 100% 才是结果，大约7年前Dell也offers linux，也没看microsoft就完蛋了，竞争不会导致完蛋，只会导致进步。

后果真的很严重哈。
小企鹅如果有足够的智慧，应该平衡狼群的力量，而不是自已冲到前面。

我只看见，在电器店里，放眼望去，除了那可爱地小白，剩下笔记本清一色的vista.
HP难道就不考虑自己卖的笔记本了么？ 以前有PC部门的IBM也一样。他们哪个敢说自己以后再也不卖微软的东西？估计那就宣布从laptop届消失得了。
这就和中美关系似的，一边合作，一边贸易摩擦。今年还是好消息，明天就诉讼你版权问题。

以前IBM特别喜欢专利诉讼，有次律师团跑到Sun说你们侵犯了我们多少多少专利，Sun一堆律师站出来研究了半天，说这些这些都不作数，剩下的我们商量商量。IBM律师面无表情答道，就算这些不作数你要不要我们再拿出几十个专利给你们研究一下？Sun律师也很坦然，明说吧，要多少钱？。。。IBM律师团收获之后马上又去了下一家公司。。。不过这几年IBM好象黑社会老大洗白成体面人士了一样。
顺便说，律师的收费是按小时算的，所以。。。

M$太不厚道。微软别说告了，那些所谓的侵权之处他是连公布出来也不敢的。Linus 有没有工作跟 Linux 是否存在毫无关系，微软明知道这一点，还拿来唬人。
